Request for Proposals for Presentations at the EAN 2026 Network Summit

Proposals are invited for short 5-10 minute presentations at the EAN Summit on September 23, 2026.  These should address the question:

What should the EAN Network know or focus on now to help Vermont and Vermonters cut costs and pollution from continued overreliance on fossil fuels?

  • Is there data or information that would inform or advance energy and climate progress in Vermont?
  • Is there an effective or promising policy, program, or approach that the EAN Network should be aware of and consider?

Timeline and process

  • A brief proposal is due by August 19, 2026.  Download the proposal questions and either email your completed proposal to crobechek@eanvt.org or submit your answers online.
  • You will hear back by early September whether your proposal has been accepted.
  • Speakers will receive support from EAN Staff in crafting their presentation and slides before the Summit on September 23, 2026.

Additional Details

From these proposals, several speakers will be invited to give short presentations of 5-10 minutes in front of the entire Summit of 125-150 Network members and partners. This is different from EAN’s traditional “pitches” in that there is no expectation of teams or coalitions forming as a result of the Summit presentations. However, further Network collaboration could follow from these themes if there is interest from multiple EAN members/partners in doing so.
