EAN Webinar | Energy Coaching Network
April 7 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Energy coaching is the process of providing residential customers with the support they need to execute clean energy projects that reduce their energy and fossil fuel use in their homes and for their transportation needs. In Vermont, these services have been traditionally provided by the weatherization agencies, energy efficiency utilities (Efficiency Vermont, Vermont Gas, and Burlington Electric), electric utilities, and Drive Electric Vermont. Recently, the Climate Economy Action Center of Addison County has established the Energy Navigator Program, a network of local volunteers and paid staff providing energy coaching services to residents in their community. There has been a growing interest in providing additional energy coaching in the state.
In this webinar the co-chairs of an EAN supported team exploring possibilities for an Energy Coaching Network will present a summary and analysis of more than 20 interviews conducted with Vermont service providers (utilities, weatherization professionals, energy coaches, etc.).
They will share information about coaching services different organizations provide, gaps that currently exist, and what key stakeholders see as opportunities for an energy coaching network. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to respond to the information provided and share their own ideas.
