Luke Miller is excited to join EAN as its new Data Manager & Research Analyst, starting on March 16th. At EAN, Luke will work with data partners from state agencies, utilities, and other organizations to collect and organize the data that underlie the information and analysis in EAN’s Annual Progress Report and other online and print resources. He will also work to manage and update EAN’s data visualization tools, including online dashboards, and also draft research reports and briefs.
Prior to joining EAN, Luke worked as a Senior Policy Associate with Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) since 2023. He conducted research and analysis to support the development of equitable decarbonization policies and programs in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. He also tracked state energy efficiency programs and other building decarbonization efforts and collaborated with stakeholder groups to pursue policy and program changes in coordination with state energy offices, utilities, energy efficiency program administrators, and other key partners.
Luke has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Northwestern University and a Master of Public Administration in environmental policy from Indiana University. He is also the Chair of the Vermont Chapter of the Sierra Club. Luke lives in Montpelier with his wife and their dog, and enjoys distance running and Nordic skiing on Montpelier’s beautiful trail network.
