| | Profile | EAN 2026 Annual Network Summit | | The 2026 EAN Annual Network Summit is September 23 at the Farmhouse at the Essex Resort. The draft agenda is: | | Data Download | How far does $10 take you? Electric vs. gasoline vehicles | | |
Because EV charging is so much less expensive than fueling with gasoline, $10 spent on fuel for an average gasoline car would only get you from Brattleboro to White River Junction (65 miles) at $3.59/gallon. In contrast, $10 spent on electricity for an EV at the statewide average residential rate would get you all the way from Brattleboro to Williston (147 miles)— and at Green Mountain Power’s EV rate, $10 would
take you all the way to Highgate (188 miles).
This is a new graph that will appear in the 2026 EAN Annual Progress Report for Vermont on Energy, Affordability, and Emissions, which will be released at the EAN Annual Network Summit and sent in the mail later this month.
