Consumer Protection: Utility Service Disconnection and Bill Payment – An Assessment of Vermont and Beyond

Evelyn joined EAN as a summer 2024 intern, focusing her research on consumer protection for utility bill payment. She is a recent graduate from the University of Vermont’s Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources where she received a BS in Environmental Studies and a minor in Equine Studies. Born and bred in Vermont, Evelyn is excited to spend her first summer as a college graduate conducting research that will provide more information on pathways for Vermont to ensure no one is left behind in the energy transition. In her free time, Evelyn competes in the equestrian discipline of Dressage with her horse Don Quixote. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, especially when her corgi Arthur can come along.
