The EAN Member Summit is coming up September 15.  Ahead of the summit, EAN is seeking pitches for promising opportunities to help Vermont rapidly, cost-effectively, and equitably reduce fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas pollution.   Please consider getting joining a pitch development conversation planned between July 21 and July 28, 2021.

We are looking forward to gathering in person for the EAN 2021 Network Summit planned for September 15, 2021 at Sugarbush Resort in Warren Vermont! In this e-mail we will:
  • share opportunities to get involved in pitch development for the Summit,
  • solicit nominations for the Anne and Arthur Berndt Award,
  • and share some other upcoming opportunities you may want to add to your calendar.
Pitch Development
EAN is seeking pitches for promising opportunities to help Vermont rapidly, cost-effectively, and equitably reduce fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas pollution. You can see all details on the EAN webpage for the Request for Pitches – which are due August 15.

We invite you to join a pitch cultivation conversation to brainstorm and coordinate with others. You can register for these conversations through the links below:

Transportation Sector Pitch Development Conversation – July 21, 3:30-5PM. (note, this has been scheduled to directly follow a shorter Transportation for Vermonters meeting for those also involved in that group).

Thermal Sector Pitch Development Conversation – July 27, 10-11:30am. Register here

Anne and Arthur Berndt Award

The Anne & Arthur Berndt Award is named after EAN’s founders and recognizes an EAN member who has demonstrated vision, leadership, and commitment to creating a renewable energy future for Vermont. It is awarded on an annual basis to individuals or organizations that have shown bold leadership in support of efforts to transform Vermont’s energy system towards one based on efficiency and renewables.
 
If you’d like to nominate a Network member (individual or organization) for the Anne & Arthur Berndt award, the deadline is Sunday, August 15. A recipient will then be chosen from among the nominees by the EAN Board of Directors. Self-nominations are welcome. You can find our member list at https://eanvt.org/about/people/network-members/.
